About me

As a result of growing up internationally in six different countries, I like to travel. I picked up a DSLR camera for one of my first trips across Europe. Some friends were supposed to join but came up short on money, so I went alone. I got the camera to still be able to share this experience with others, and this is how I discovered street photography.

Two years later this camera was stolen at gunpoint, during a trip through Thailand. This gave me the opportunity to purchase a camera that is better suited for me and for street photography, the Leica M6. Currently, the majority of my work is shot with the Leica M10 and Leica M6.

Influences include classic street photographers Henri Cartier Bresson, Vivian Maier and Brassaï, but also contemporary photographers Ragnar Axelsson, Steve McCurry, and Alan Schaller.
