PASSENGERS

I like to envision the chaotic world as balanced, orderly and well-proportioned, with everything falling into place as soon as I press the shutter button.
People usually move around predictably and with intent, like passengers going to their next destination.
With this in mind, I picture the scene, composed as if I were to paint it - that's if I could paint - and make it a reality.
“Most people, including myself, tend to go in autopilot as they go about their day. This creates interesting and predictable geometry, which I look for."
“However, it is usually the unpredictable human element, if I am lucky enough to catch it, that resonates most with the viewer.”
